Haven't seen class of '15 Nolan play, but I have to laugh at the fact Bahar travels to Mohegan Sun to watch someone who plays his home games in Alumni Hall.

Martin has seen Nolan play many times. And the Stags have been aware of him and what he might become (and he I'm sure aware of their interest) for quite awhile.
Here is a great move by Thomas Nolan (2015) that happened right in Alumni Hall in this years State Quarterfinals against CT perennial power Hillhouse. Fairfield U and other schools in attendance that night. By the way notice how incredible Alumni Hall can be.
If Fairfield is interested, lets hope they investigate the "moves" by those unsportsman like Prep kids in the Mohegan Sun locker room after Bridgeport Central beat them in the State finals. $10,000 of vandalism, 2nd place trophies thrown on the floor and left behind, etc. I found the Prep players' antics on the court to be less than sportsmanlike as well. I don't know whether this player was part of the problem or not, but I hope that the University does its due diligence. We have had nothing but class acts on our team for as long as I can remember.
That's right fans, the Prep kids. Not those inner-city Bridgeport kids. The Central kids were great sportsmen, they always are. Now it is evident that some of the narrow minded bloggers on this board have pre-conceived notions and low expectations about everything inner-city, and they love their suburban institutions, diners, hot dog stands, and everything that comes out of Round Hill Road. Expand your thinking men.

Every time I read something about this incident it makes me sick. Poor little babies lost a basketball game. How tragic. Unfortunately it is typical of the attitudes many entitled brats carry around with them. So much for your precious Jesuit education. Men for others?? Give me a break! Show me the money!
I would love to know what action has been taken with these kids. Was anyone suspended and demanded they do community service as a condition of re-admission--or did mommy and daddy just pony up some cash? Actions have consequences and if they just got a reprimand and a slap on the wrist it would be tragic.
I have no idea of this kids involvement. He may be absolutely innocent and a great player as well. But I'm with Disco, give me the Anthony Johnson any day. Give me the inner city kid who has worked hard to pull himself up, overcome extremely difficult surroundings, and appreciates the opportunity to get a shot, NOT expect it.
One negative, though, was the damage done by Fairfield Prep to its locker room at the Mohegan Sun Arena after the team had lost to Bridgeport Central 76-73. Basically a food fight occurred in there. Hoey said water, food and Gatorade damaged the locker room. Expect Fairfield Prep to pay for the damage....

Is that really evident? Has anyone on here said anything close to that?
i am sure you can get a few bottles of gatorade for less than ten grand. have a investigation, and when it has been concluded, you will see that THIS prep team has the fire of a inner city team, and has at least one great inner city kid from bridgeport. perhaps the investigation should center on why some teams do not.

Yes Typhaon, it is to me. It is especially evident in some of the posts concerning playing in at AH in Fairfield vs playing at WBA in Bridgeport. Some posts base their arguments on some pretty whacky rationale, while others simply mistate facts, most of which portray false images of crime/safety and aesthetics. Other posts are more direct and simply bash the City, again often unjustly and untruthfully. It is one thing to prefer to play on campus, or in a town where you feel comfortable. It is quite another to denegrate an entire community to make your point.
To see the 2014 CHSCA all state team, use the link, click the search box --then type Thomas Nolan in the advanced search box. The all state team will be the top article on the list that appears.
A reminder that St. Luke's, St. Thomas Moore, etc. are not part of CHSCA.
Something I find odd ---Steve Enoch 6'8" from Norwalk HS (class of '15) who has 5 scholarship offers already according to verbalcommits (including one from us) did not make 1st or 2nd team all state for class LL but his teammate and fellow junior Roy Kane made 2nd team in LL and Kane only has one scholarship offer so far according to verbalcommits (Iona). Did anyone see Norwalk play this year and can offer an explanation for this?
Link to CT Post Super 15. No mention of Enoch in CT Post.
Roy Kane Jr., Norwalk Two-time All-FCIAC first-team pick, the junior forward is being recruited by several Division I programs. ... Kane averaged 20.3 points, 11.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists and also scored his 1,000th point this season. ... Can do work inside but also has the ability to slash to the basket and will hit jumpers from time to time, making him very difficult to guard straight up.
Thomas Nolan, Fairfield Prep Junior guard averaged close to 15 points to help lift the Jesuits to an SCC title and the Class LL final ... Had 15 points in the SCC final and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player. ... CHSCA All-State Class LL.
