Regarding picture in uniforms, I like it. Sydney's secret weapon. Opp. coach tells player to guard #1. Confused, the player guards the wrong one as one of the others goes off for 50. We could only hope, right? Pertaining to Pemberton and Turner, both of these kids played in the CIAC last season. Pemberton at Xavier and Turner at Trumbull. Never saw Pemberton play (he was injured when they came down to play Prep) but he was considered a force in the league and one of the best juniors in state last year and I know the Stags followed him closely all season. Turner I did see perform. He has a lot of talent and certainly was at the top of the list of sophomores in Conn. Don't know anything about the third guy mentioned (Assie).

Rather odd. Julian Richardson's dad is Pooh Richardson, who was a star at UCLA from '85-'89. Julian had scholarship offers from Villanova and Minnesota among others, according to verbalcommits; yet he'll be playing for Niagara this coming season.

It is odd that he got offers from a few Big schools. He is listed as a 2-Star and a Mid Major level player. But I would not be surprised that Villanova and Minnesota did Pooh Richerdson a favor, and offerred his son a scholarship in order to incease his sons value. It would not be the first time that tactic was used.

re: Richardson - Marvin Walters grew up with Pooh and went to Minnesota with him in some sort of personal manager capacity. There Marvin met the guy who eventually purchased the Globetrotters. Marvin eventually went to work with them as director of player personnel. Among talents that Marvin "found" was Terry Fitzsimons who player for the Generals for a year.
when u zoom it up his face appears to be amadou, he appears to be much bigger "bulked up"?
I just confirmed that it is Amadou in the Photo. He looks to be significantly Bulked up in the shoulder and chest area. He looks to be a lot bigger thatn the 215lbs he was listed at tthe last 2 years..... He is looking a little more AJ like. What will be a real key this year is Amadou’s health. Last he started very slow due to his knee issues. He could hardly play more than 10mpg. So one of the biggest keys to this year is that he is healthy from his Knee procedure/surgery he had in the spring. We will need him to be 100%, as soon as we start practice.
From Rick Atson: had good visit with Fairfield and @travisatson Coach spoke very highly of Trav and says he will be a player Immediatly if he decides to go.
Adam Zagoria @adamzagoria · 53m Emmitt Holt begins his Indiana visit Monday
Emmitt Holt is a 2 star power forward for Vermont Academy that we have offered a '15 scholarship to according to verbalcommits. Apparently, if Holt accepts the Indiana offer he'll reclassify to '14 class and play for the Hoosiers this season.
