Former players Rafferty, Groom, Ryan, Kelly and Needham issued a 25k challenge to fans to match their donations Oakley announced that she got someone to match her 25k challenge, and then issued another 25k challenge With Beckwith and Berchman there is a lot of financial leadership...
Wonderful to see the financial support from the basketball alumni. Hopefully these 25K challenges from former Stag Basketball greats will find their way onto the Stag website's SUPPORT US page, the University's SUPPORT FAIRFIELD page and our AR website sooner than later. Many months later "Joining" Friends of Fairfield Athletics through the Stag website has not been made clear or simple and the process currently still involves sending an email or making a phone call and there still is no "click of the mouse": It’s really not that hard to do. Becoming a Friend of Fairfield Athletics is a simple process that begins with the desire to make a difference. With that desire, you can begin making a impact with a phone call, a quick email, or a click of the mouse. However, on parts of the University website you will still get an ERROR MESSAGE if you want to "Join The Friends": We're sorry, the page you're looking for can't be found.blog.fairfield.edu/stagfriends/?page_id=102Maybe TEAMSTAG was not a successful program and maybe all the different Friends of Fairfield (sports) groups were not successful but at least it was clear and easy to join if you wanted to.

Photos from the NYC Event. Hopefully this event continues to be an annual event, and Hopefully they can do this at a more reasonable price to allow more people to attend. Around $100per person would be good. Celebrating "Leaders of the Herd"!
Thank you to all those who were able to join us last Wednesday at the Leaders of the Herd Lifetime and Distinguished Service Awards event at the Grand Hyatt in New York!. It was a great event and truly memorable evening. It is always exciting to see alumni, parents, and friends of Fairfield Basketball coming together at our games and at events like these. And to those who couldn't attend, click the image to see some photos of what you missed!
Thank you all for your support!
