Its become quite obvious that the NEPSAC (New England Prep School) is a conference that produces high numbers of Division 1 players. Of the 19 players on the 1st and 2nd team and honorable mention teams who are seniors, all but 3 are Division 1 bound and to some pretty big programs. Two of the exceptions are Point Guards who are uncommitted, Sean Hoehn and Daquon Ervin. IMO, these are the types of players you need to chase. JUCO's are JUCO"s for a reason. Here are highlights from 2014 of Ervin and Hoehn. Both are big time students
Here is a guy from the UK.... Dwayne Lautier-Ogunyele (guard 6-3, 190). I think we are spanning the globe for hoop players. I think he is ranked 3rd on Luol Deng's rankings. We have had some good luck with UK players.... Darren Phillp, Ajou Deng, Deng Gai (I think he spent some time in UK)
I'll take him, a PG, and a big. Speaking of the Dengs, is Ajou's brother Ajou on FF's radar? Didn't play a lot behind Steve Enoch, but is, physically, a Luol clone.
There are some of the best HS basketball players from between Boston to DC and we need to search the globe to find one? If I remember didn't Cormier fly to Australia to scout a 7'-0" by the name of Smyrh who came to ffld. for one season and was not very good? Anyone remember that?
