Like Tommy's game. I think it will translate well to the MAAC. But, WOW, the video quality is amazing. It almost looks 3D. They must have a special camera.

Just watched the video all the way through. I just love his intensity and passion. He seems to have that "heart" intangible that you just can't measure and which motivates others. I think that intangible alone is what makes him a winner and will have an impact on the Fairfield U program. Go Tommy! I am already fired up to see this kid play for the Stags. He may just be the second coming of Timmy O'Toole!

I too watched the video. I think it was clear he was a very good high school player, I hope this translates to the same success on the court against collegiate competition. I think that the red-shirting next year is only in his favor, and if he continues to work hard and get a little bigger, he could be a great addition.
One thing I saw was there was no hesitation. He had an open look, he was shooting. Saw a pass lane open, he was dishing. I feel like a lot of kids get more timid when thrown onto a bigger stage, I hope his decision making comes with the same speed at the next level!
What have I been saying? Too bad he won't be playing next year.......
I'm disagreeing here. I think next year will be much improved, but still a sloppy learning year.
I think tommy sits out and gets stronger and even better, and we've got a very very good squad in 2016-2017, with more staggered scholarships and experience
The prep year should do him good. Not a Division 1 player for this season. As far as the Tice comparisons, go back and watch Tice against Carter, Jamison, Cota, and Zwikker in the NCAA game. Enough said.
Well Tice was a heck of a player. Nolan does show his kind of toughness but he probably will never get to that level. I'm glad he's sitting out a year, and I'm sure he'll be playing on campus with the other new arrivals very soon.
We are young at guard again in terms of class, but Aidas, Cobb and JJ are all going to be older freshmen. Looking forward to getting some reports when everyone arrives for summer classes.
Nolan transferring, though I believe he is graduating isn't he? Hope he lands someplace as a grad transfer where he can actually get some playing time before his career is over.
Tommy is working out tomorrow at D2 power St. Anselms. Wish him the best. Would be a great way to finish out his career.
Yeah I agree. St. A's, big-time power for sure going back many, many years when they used to compete well against the Stags once in awhile when Fred Barakat was coaching. But actually they just completed a tremendous season where they won 26 games and made the D-2 Final 4. So to be able to make that squad would be an accomplishment for Tommy if the workout goes well and he gets accepted.
