A great idea (and long overdue) making Stags Club membership only $99.00. Much more inclusive and an incentive to join. Looks like Zach Dayton, the new Associate Director of Athletics for Marketing & Communications is already making changes. . Enhance your Fairfield University Basketball experience by joining the Stags Club at the Webster Bank Arena. The 4,000 square foot skybox comes equipped with a private bar, large high-definition televisions and comfortable seating for 300.The Stags Club also includes a cash bar featuring signature Fairfield Stags drinks.
Can a past Stags Club member comment on the "game day meal"? Is it substantial, good quality? How much are the draft beers up there? Same as lower level concessions? Wasn't beer included in the original plan a few years ago?

Yes for sure on quality and amount! Also good mix and variety from game to game. Salad always available no matter what the main course is. As far as beers, yes they have been a part of the plan. However with this new pricing there is no way that could continue. But I do believe they will cost the same as down below.
The quality of the meal was excellent. For $99, I cannot see how they can replicate the quality. If they always have a salad..... then that would work with some type of meal. Beers were free last year.
The food at the stags club was always good and I remember at least one drink or more ( beer/wine/booze)was included. At $99 for this upcoming season I am anticipating some chicken fingers will be served along the way. A nice selection of beer/wine/booze was made available. A really convenient place to eat and relax before the game. I would recommend membership to all. Additionally, the company of many long time stag fans was even a better bonus. The coaching talks usually by martin bahar (the sacrificial lamb) were a waste of time. Same old stuff each game, coach speak no substance. No credibility towards the end of a second a dismal season!
Stags Club is a great move. Had a chat with Zach the other day and like all the other guys who accepted this position is upbeat and wants to get it done.
It is said the Mayor of NYC is the second toughest job in America. Wrong. It's this position.
-- Since we now have to pay for it, is it possible to get a cup of coffee in the Stags Club? I'll even donate the Keurig Machine!
buck, if the school works it in the same manner this year as they did last year, they will issue u an I'd that u can pick -up usually right before the first home game.
Here is my 'report' on the 'Event'... I arrived at the arena around 3:30. When I arrived, I was given a bobble-head stag at a sign in table near the entrance and was told that Helen was in the stands to help people find their season ticket seats. The arena was being set up for a hockey game, so getting to the seats was a bit tough and some of the lower seats were actually inaccessible. A few people were milling around checking out their seats, or talking to Helen. When I went up to the Stag Club, there were only two people there, but since some of the cookies, brownies and fruit had already been taken from the trays, there must have been others at the Stag Club before I got there. Since I got to the Arena early, I assumed that most people would be stopping by later.
