Lou Lopez-Senechal has never been afraid of a new adventure. Her love for traveling and the game of basketball has afforded her the opportunities to live these worldly experiences that others might dream of. But before coming to Fairfield University, there was one setting that Lopez-Senechal had not yet experienced: a college campus.
"I loved it," Lopez-Senechal said about first walking on to the Fairfield campus. "I was amazed because I never seen a campus before, just on movies or on TV. I had some ideas when I was looking at pictures and talking with the coaches but obviously when you arrive it's way better. I am really lucky and really happy to have done the visit because it helped me be more clear in my choice."
While Fairfield University was the first college campus that Lopez-Senechal ever stepped foot on, it was far from the first spot in her basketball journey.
That journey would begin in France, where Lopez-Senechal played most of her life and first developed her skills on the basketball court......
