The Stags were clinging to an 84-83 lead with 32 seconds left when Sidibe closed things out with a 3-point play. After scoring on a layup, the Fairfield senior converted at the foul line to make it a two-possession game.
It will be a nice way to beat them again.

BOSTON COLLEGE VS. FAIRFIELD - ALL-TIME SERIES
Today's marks the 36th all-time meeting between the two teams.
BC is 24-11 overall vs. Fairfield and 14-5 all-time at home.
Stags' assistant Mitch Buonaguro played for the Eagles from 1973-75 and was an assistant coach at Boston College from 1975-77.
It marks the second game this season versus a Jesuit institution of higher learning. BC downed Loyola Chicago, 78-66, on Nov. 21.

BC was a 20 point favorite over Sacred Heart (4-6) and won that game by only 8 points 81-73.

Pomeroy has us a 13 point Underdog. That gives us a 11% chance of winning. Bottom line is that BC (90) is rated the same as ODU (75). They both have 2 excellent guards, and teams that played good defense. And a week ago I think they both were rated around 82.
The key to the game is that we need to stay close (6 points or less), just like the ODU game, where we kept on coming back to take the lead..

Good luck men. My gut says it could be ugly, my heart says fight hard and a loss like we had vs. ODU is a "win".

So far this season BC is (5-2) at home and averaging 3,933 fans in their on campus 8,606 seat Conte Forum. The largest crowd this seasom was against Providence with 5,453.

Is this the first start for Lemetti? Either Lemetti has earned the spot, or he is just a better fit for playing against BC. I hope Benning is not injured.
