He has a few options, including the return to Rostock as a First Division team. That would mean a heftier contract.
But there is reported interest in Nelson with other, top European teams.
"If the NBA called, I'd have to listen, but I'm not going to count anything," said Nelson. "I have a little time to think about it. I had one of the best years of my life and getting to Greece, to relax, is first on my list."

I see this article from Nelson's hometown newspaper is a month old, therefore considering the NBA Summer League is starting this coming week with no mention of him being on a team, I'm sure the Rostock option (or possible other European team) is much more the likely outcome for the coming year. Anyway from what I understand, the relegation up to the top German division in itself would mean a huge jump in pay for the players on his Rostock team, not to mention his own jump based on his importance to the squad. Therefore that would make it all the more likely of it being played out that way. Remember just playing in the NBA Summer League doesn't in itself guarantee a spot on any team for the regular season. But all that said, and this is something I never would have imagined even a year ago, another year of similar performance, especially against tougher competition, would not make it so far-fetched that Tyler couldn't some day suit up for an NBA team in the regular season (making him only the third Stag to ever achieve that honor). So there's nothing wrong with dreaming, especially for a guy who has been able to fill many of those thoughts throughout his career.

The NBA is just so full of freak athletes. Everyone is a 3P shooter and even a good chunk of the pure snipers are like 6'8"+ wing defenders. Perhaps, if there was significant expansion or some kind of 2nd division (but we know that isn't happening). I'd think Nelson is in the "make money" phase of his career and Europe should offer some great opportunities.

The question has been answered. Tyler is signing to go back to Rostock for another year. The competition will be a lot better now that they will be competing in the top German division. But with better competition comes more opportunity. I'm sure he will have another good season.

New season underway for Nelson with his team now competing in the highest level league in Germany, the easyCredit BBL. Great start for Tyler and the Seawolves as they have won their first two games with Tyler averaging 18 PPG, 50% from the 3-point line and 90% on his free throws. And he is getting a lot of minutes too, so that's great. Jennings Beach if you possibly can, I would appreciate it if you could somehow link up the videos such as with last season. I tried the old click but the new games don't appear. Thanks.

Nashville,
Couldn't find any links to the livestreams or replays. Now that Rostock is playing in the top flight, I suspect their games are pay-per-view. I'll keep looking.
Here are the highlights from Rostock's first-ever win in BBL Bundesliga play. Nelson hit some big shots down the stretch, as Rostock outscored the opponent 17-1 down the stretch. Tyler even gets interviewed at the end of the clip.
Tyler's team Rostock has reached about a third of their league schedule with a record of 5-6. It's interesting that the games are spread out over a long period of time (probably more so than the NFL) which means a lot of downtime between games. Therefore even though they only have a little over 20 contests left, their regular season won't be over until May. Anyway, he is holding his own with the upgrade in competition that he is facing this year with a scoring average of almost 15 PPG. 3-point shooting percentage of about 37 is a little below where he has been in the past. However his free throw mark of over 94% is tremendous. Hopefully like his Dad says, he will finish strong!

Update on Nelson with his January games completed. He has upped his average by about a point to nearly 16 PPG on an average of just over 25 min. a game while shooting 40% from 3 and over 92% from the free throw line. Team had been on a long losing streak but now has won their last two which is important because of the possibility of being relegated back to a lower division if they finish near the bottom of the league. Salaries are at a different level at the top, so I hope they hold their own down the stretch. I think only the last two in the standings fall back and Rostock is in pretty good shape currently as #9 in a 17 team circuit, so I think they should be okay. But all in all a good five game month for Tyler who had a couple real good games including one where he had 23 points. Still a LONG way to go in the season as far as months on the calendar are concerned considering the time off between scheduled contests.
