I'm thinking QU could be going for an A-10 invitation as well, in fact, didn't one of their officers say that was their goal a few years back? I'm hoping this scenario was war gamed by our athletic department and a plan activated. QU getting the bid is too bitter to contemplate.

No doubt they will. They will stop at nothing to buy their upward mobility.....they remind me of a secular Liberty U.

I have a letter Gene Doris sent me in 1996 that stated our goal is to be in the A-10 within 5 years. Looks liked we missed on his timeline

Other than hockey, the QU admin is not as high on athletics as it was under Leahy.

For those that want us to jump to the Patriot League, doesn’t the Deon Perry transfer give you pause? As I have said in previous posts, don’t think we need to be in a hurry to jump. The University and many sports are excelling. Think there will be multiple opportunities.
No better time for Fairfield to jump than now, and it won't be to the Patriot League. This is probably the best overall athletics season Fairfield has had in a very long time, if not the best. IMO, things will start to move once ALL the seasons are done with. Here's hoping.
