^^^Last season Pomeroy had the Southern as the 12th best conference and the ASUN as the 26th rated conference, so this scheduling alliance isn’t like the ACC- Big Ten games or Big East- Big12 games where the conferences are close to one another in perceived strength. It’ll be interesting to see if the MAAC enters a scheduling alliance with another conference. Actually I would have never known the difference between these two conferences if you hadn't posted this info here. I think in most years they are very close together. For a reference point I notice that the Ivy League comes in at 11th, certainly an amazingly high ranking relative to other seasons. Anyway this idea sounds like a good one in alleviating some scheduling problems and I wish the MAAC might consider something like this. It would even be great to have an arrangement with the Ivies considering the Stags were able to defeat their NCAA representative in Yale. Probably makes too much sense for it to ever happen however.

And with that in mind, let's not forget the contributions that Caleb Fields, formally of MAC school Bowling Green was able to give us during his two years performing for the Stags!

The D1 Docket is stating that the 1st D1 complete OOC is in. Toledo has completed its OOC— and we are not on their OOC schedule. Usually, in the next few weeks a few more schools will announce their OOCs which is normally followed by several schools announcing their OOC in a compact time span. d1docket.blogspot.com/p/2024-25-dockets-east-coast-leagues.html
