Just got home was able to watch both the men's and women's games. Tough loss for the men's team, they looked in control and on top of things the first 20 minutes. Congrats to the ladies, Niagara did what they always do defensively. We shot poorly the first half, got in foul trouble and got way too deep with some penetrations and didn't do a great job boxing out. Nellie getting the technical foul just can't happen at this level, not sure what the girl said or did, but you know they are trying to piss you off. You have to ignore it and move on. When Lamoreaux got her 2nd foul that could have been a disaster with both point guards in trouble. From a conditioning standpoint, we are in way better shape than Niagara and it showed in the 2nd half and overtime. Let's see who get matched up with and see what gameplan we can do! Congrats on an incredible season for the ladies and coaches, 31-1 is mind blowing! Will be interesting to see when the portal opens up on who is leaving FF, and who wants to come run with the Stags. If CTD stays, and I am very confident she will, nobody of any importance will be leaving thru the portal

Most of the top 7-8 players seem to love it here and enjoy playing for the coaches and each other.

Congrats! What a ride. One moment I want to mention from OT. Early in the season vs. Vandy... Nicole Gallagher missed an open 3P to probably win the game. Today she had a 3P in OT to put the Stags in the driver's seat... and she nailed it. Clutch. See - I wasn't the only one that thought of this... Blake DuDonis captures it better in words and pictures.

Obviously CTD and staff have put together an awesome roster of returning athletes, transfers and freshmen. From my viewpoint, I am impressed with how they play 'for each other' - know and understand their respective roles , etc. Winning 31 games certainly helps with that but the pieces of the puzzle had to be put together. Bravo to the staff.
On another note - remember the Women's program has been a winning program historically (Diane Nolan, Joe Frager/LLS) so IMO this staff took a successful program and is making it better.

Agreed 100% on the ability of this staff to take 3-4 returners, 2-3 freshmen and 3 transfers and put a 31-1 team together. That is incredible. Kind of hard to imagine a 27-5 year next year and we are possibly "disappointed".
