We cannot turn the ball over with the lead.... we had to let them foul us. The first turnover was the worst, because we were up three. It was a 2 or 3 man trap on KJ in the corner. Either KJ should not have been there, or the pass should have gone to someone else.
Just watched the last possession on replay a few times. KJ should have passed it to Marcus who was wide open from 6 feet. Marcus's defender (Bispring) was the one who left Marcus open to draw the charge on KJ. Barrow was not open. Rose needed to make the right pass or stop and take a short jumper, and he didn't.

Pleased with the effort, disappointed with the execution down the stretch (heard that a lot this year unfortunately).
As many of your are down on SJ (and I can't say I'm not either), we all know he's going nowhere until the end of next year at the earliest. Eating a contract like this is not something a program like ours does on a regular basis.
Furthermore, what kind of message does it send to a potential candidate about the program that we fire our coach after one losing year following 2 straight successful seasons (by our program's standards)? And don't tell me it shows ambition and a results-demanding administration. To me it shows we are delusional about our program and what it should be. Again let me reiterate it's not how I personally feel, but that would be the outside perception of anyone else not looking at this situation with stag-colored glasses...

I would say that a coach would actually be encouraged by the fact that we would eat a contract. It shows a commitment to winning. A lot of people would line up for the job. There's only about 350 of these jobs in the country and this is a pretty good one - pays well.
Turnovers matter ..simple as that. You learn from it .or you continue them. Early in game Or late in game They matter.. Thats the difference from program to program.

Mo Barrow was incredible tonight just as he was versus Monmouth. He really lead the team and deserved a win. I wish he had gotten a touch on the last 2 possessions. S Johnston was also great.
I thought this was a tremendous team effort and we just came up a little short. Certainly this was an encouraging effort.
