During the past week, and also today, I have watched, or have available to watch on-line, all tournament games from ACC, SEC, Big 12, AAC(UConn), NEC(SHU), and all the Big 10 games are available on my TV.
To watch FU today, it costs $7.95 per game on MAAC TV. Really?? Is the MAAC serious?

Great way to build the fan base. But the MAAC had their 2017 MAAC Softball Tournament FREE with a national audience on ESPN3. Go figure?

Iona wins 7-6 and will play #2 Marist for the 2017 MAAC Baseball Championship this afternoon. Fairfield Athletics @fairfieldstags 7m7 minutes ago And that's a final. Mac Crispino comes within a foot of winning the game on a walk-off homer, instead it's caught and @stags_Base falls 7-6Stags finish the 2017 season at (31-24)(17-7). As a team, the Stags will end the campaign one victory shy of the single season record which was set in 2014 and 2016, the last two times they reached the MAAC Championships. Disappointing ending against a team they dominated this season.

My reaction to today's Fairfield baseball result is best summed up by the sentence which has been attributed to pitcher Clifton G Curtis around 1910. After losing his 23rd game of the season he supposedly said -- You can't win 'em all. you can't win 'em all sentence One cannot always be successful; win a few lose a few •Often said ruefully after one has failed, or comfortingly to someone else who has failed [1910+ Sports; attributed to a pitcher named Clifton G Curtis after losing his 23rd game of the season] The Dictionary of American Slang, Fourth Edition by Barbara Ann Kipfer, PhD. and Robert L.
