After tying a Lessing Field record with three goals in the Fairfield University Women's Soccer team's home opener, sophomore Alex Madden was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career.
"I'm really happy for Alex's distinction this week," Head Coach David Barrett said. "She had a great game on Friday, hopefully it's a breakthrough for her and will lead to continued strong performances over the next few weeks."
