Wow...... looks like a great ball handler, passer, defender and jumping ability as a 6-0 PG. Certainly looks like a 3-star Athlete. And he is great attacking the hoop. In a few video's, I did not see him take an outside shot.
The suitors include UB, Penn State, Yale, Columbia, Temple, George Washington, Binghamton, Canisius, Valparaiso, Cleveland State, Howard, Stony Brook, Saint Peter’s, Wake Forest and Fairfield.

Quite a range of schools, both academically and basketball-wise. A selling point to him (besides the academics) should be that he would have the opportunity to come in and play right away. Sort of a replacement for Alvarez I would think. First known recruiting prospect of Jay Young, at first glance this kid looks like a good one. Problem of course is the options he would have as listed above plus I see prep school might also be a choice for one year. Anyway, hoping for the best and of course looking forward to more names emerging in these next few weeks.
We have the exact same chance of landing Noah Hutchins as we did Neftali Alvarez..... 3-star Player, lots of schools involved, some high level schools, 6-foot, heading into May.
Our goal should be to go after players that we have a 1-in-50 chance of winning out. And go after a lot of them. Especially this year, when we have just hired Jay Young, who has to have a lot of connections at the 4-Star, 3-Star, and very good 2 Star level.
Its tough when you only see "Highlight Video" of a player, especially shooting. I remember seeing Neftali shoot 100% from the field in his videos.

Yes. We only see percentages with JUCOS. If he shot 30 percent from 3 as a frosh that would be plenty good for a first year PG who could do everything else well. Still need a bigger SG.
