The championship field for the 2019 MAAC Women’s Soccer Championship has been confirmed. The six teams competing to claim this year’s MAAC title include Monmouth University, Fairfield University, Rider University, Marist College, Quinnipiac University, and Niagara University. The six-team championship will take place over three days, with all games being hosted by the higher seeds. First round games will take place on Sunday, Nov. 3 and will be hosted by No. 3 Rider and No. 4 Marist. The semifinal games will be hosted by No. 1 Monmouth and No. 2 Fairfield on Thursday, Nov. 7. The Stags (10-5-3, 7-2-1) claimed the No. 2 seed and will receive a first-round bye and will host the higher advancing seed from Sunday’s first round games. Fairfield returns to the MAAC Championship after not making the cut in the 2018 season. The Stags ended their regular season with a 2-0 loss against the top seeded Hawks in a potential MAAC Championship Game preview. The Championship Game will take place on Sunday, Nov. 10 and will be hosted by the highest remaining seed. Tickets for all games can be purchased by visiting MAAC.Ticketleap.com or by visiting MAACSports.com/WSOC.
