Interesting to note that, in spite of all of the negativism towards the MAAC from some fans, the overall conference rank has risen to #22 according to this website.

Like pulling teeth, maybe things are looking up for the league, no matter how slowly it feels. BTW one thing I just noticed while checking in for Atlantic City, both the men's semi-finals and the finals will be on one form of the (non-computer) family of ESPN networks, something I originally thought wouldn't happen with the new dates. Friday night double-header, ESPN News. Final on Saturday at 4:PM, ESPNU.

Some Rutgers fans are bemoaning the fact that RU is 1-6 on the road, and perhaps needs to schedule a few OOC away games. It'd be great if Pikiell and team wanted to head up I95 and play us at AH (ideally) or WBA any time in the near future.

The MAAC is now rated at #21. We have just past the Western Athletic Conference at 22. The Patriot is at 23.... two spots behind the MAAC. These late season moving in ratings is due to good OOC teams winning games like W&M, Texas A&M, Maryland, and USC.

How close are the MAAC teams to each other? Well in tonight's five league games the difference was 1 point in two of the contests, 2 in one, 3 in another and 4 in the final one, a TOTAL of an 11 point difference in all five combined! That must be some type of a record.
