Looks like the Comerica Center in Dallas would be a great venue for the MAAC Tournament. Can we drop it in White Plains?
Interestingly, this 4500-5000 seat arena was built in 2003 for $27 million.
just a tidbit, the conference USA tournament is held about 10 minutes away at "The Star" (Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters lol) where they actually play 2 games simultaneously for the early rounds. believe separated by a curtain a la old recplex
The Texas Legends/Mavs G league team has opted out of the GLeague bubble in Orlando. Affects Tyler- don’t know how though.
It might leave him out in the cold I'm afraid. I do know that he wanted to play oversees if this was a normal year. Too bad he still wasn't with Greensboro at this moment. Anyway, maybe as things get better he will find a team somewhere for some "spring ball."
OTOH I see the Long Island Nets will be participating. I haven't heard anything about Jonathan, but assuming he is still with them, I imagine he will be down there.

Stay tuned.
It looks like Kasibabu is still on the LI Nets roster. Had a pretty good 2019-20 season.
Back to the bubble: G League season will be played at Disney
The G League will crown its 2021 champion in a bubble, just as the NBA did last season. Plans were announced Friday for the G League season, which will be condensed and played at the Walt Disney World resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Teams have been given a preliminary plan calling for games to begin around Feb. 8, but no schedule details have been set.....

Can't help thinking about our 2017-2018 season with Nelson as a senior, Kasibabu a junior, Ferron Flavors as a long-range threat, Cruz had a nice frosh year with 9.1 ppg/4.4 rpg. I know we made it to the MAAC title games as it was, but better PG play and a better complimentary player or two and we had something special. Woulda, coulda, shoulda.
does G league re draft every year? or expansion draft type of thing?
“The NBA G League holds a draft every year consisting of nearly 150 players who have signed contracts with the league. It lasts four rounds and teams only have to make two selections.” This year because only 18 of the G league teams are playing at the bubble the “G” league draft was only three rounds.
With the No. 14 pick in the first round of the 2020-21 #GLeagueDraft, the #AustinSpurs select Jonathan Kasibabu!
Good luck Jon, great town for young adults.
Update on Jonathan who's (brief) season is over. As you know, the G League basically played for only one month in Orlando in a bubble. Jon got to play in 6 games. I believe he was injured at the beginning and therefore missed about 3-4 other ones. Anyway, he averaged 16.5 minutes a contest, scored 7.3 PPG and got 3.8 rebounds (and made a little bit of money). Hopefully all those things will pick up for him as (hopefully) things get back to a more normal situation next year.
