On behalf of all at Fairfield University, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas, and a peaceful and rewarding New Year.
We have much to be grateful for: once again this year, we received the highest number of undergraduate applicants in our history, and we can expect a robust and exciting group of young men and women in 2020. Our campus continues to thrive with the introduction of the new Barnyard Manor residences and our new Charles F. Dolan School of Business facility, as well as other enhancements. Plus, we have a new Arena and Convocation Center to look forward to; we expect to break ground this coming year.
Our University’s reputation for modern excellence continues to grow, with excellent rankings for our schools and programs. Notably, we are nationally ranked #14 for Best Alumni Network and #14 as Best School for Internships by The Princeton Review. This is particularly gratifying as it shows our efforts as a community, and your efforts as friends and neighbors — helping fellow Stags to achieve their potential — are recognized across the country, and contribute to our rising national stature as a model of the 21st century Jesuit Catholic university.
My family and I are grateful to be part of this wonderful community. Thank you for all that you do, and for all of the ways in which you enhance the life of Fairfield.
