As my old high school coach would say "Guys, let's get them right from the giddyup."
The team has been somewhat lackadaisical in the first half recently. Being down double-digits at the break is not a recipe for success.
Sure hope they have their motors running the second the ball goes up today. Get the crowd into the game early, keep the gym loud, and maybe they can steal this game. It would be a great way for Alumni Hall to be remembered.

Exactly right on all counts. Need to get the crowd into it early unlike some recent performances. And it's ironic given another thread where Jay Young has received some criticism for guys not stepping up and making enough free throws, something that may be a little misplaced given the individual nature of success or failure in this area, actually if the Stags do indeed get off to another lackluster beginning here similar to other games recently, now that to me would really be a coaching issue that would be fair to comment on. Let's hope we don't have this type of thing happen again this afternoon!
Hopefully a "soldout" Alumni Hall with a final home court advantage as #4 Rider (10-8)(16-12) is a 2 point favorite over the #9 Stags (7-10)(11-17) this afternoon.
Fairfield Basketball @stagsmensbball Thank you to the men’s basketball alumni, former coaches, managers and administrators who joined us today in Alumni Hall
