Stags again turn it up in the 2nd half and beat LIU, 19-15! Same score as Quinny game.
A few obvious points - 1. We can’t dig ourselves holes like this and expect to beat better teams. 2. We have to defend better and get on guys’ hands as they prepare to unload shots. 3. This weekend’s Harvard game is a big test. Would be good getting a win against a program with some history.
I like the way we are playing. The hustle is exciting to see. We scored numerous goals just on extra effort!!!
Congrats to team and coaches on the scoring and wins to start the season!

Agree, the Harvard Game is the 2nd real test. The first real test against Georgetown was a poor outing for the stags. The four wins at home against some what mediocre teams are not a good indicator. The stags offense appears to be solid, the stags defense is suspect. Interesting because the coach baxter was the defensive coach at yale. Two time CAA rookie player of the week Bryce Ford is the real deal. Five points (goal and assist) last night vs LIU will probably make him the CAA rookie of the week for a third week in a row. His twin brother Dean Ford who is recovering from a HS injury will also develop into a solid player. Improve the defense and this team could possibly make some noise in the CAA. get started by winning one on the road. ps- Travis Ford another very talented player on the team is not related.
