The final homestand in the history of Alumni Hall will begin on Thursday night when the #4 Fairfield University Women's Basketball team hosts #6 Siena at 7:00pm. The building, which hosted it's first season in 1959, has been home to the women's basketball program in nearly every season since their 1981-82 Division I debut. The Stags own an all-time record of 285-105 (73%) at Alumni Hall with a 96-43 (69%) clip under Joe Frager. The Stags will wrap up the 2019-20 MAAC Regular Season and play the final game ever at Alumni Hall on Saturday when they take on #8 Niagara at 2:00pm on ESPN3. The program will also honor the two member senior class of Sam Kramer and Nicole Bus to celebrate their four years of dedication to the Stags on their Senior Day. Kudos to the ladies for finishing at .500 and in the top of the league standings. I believe I heard that Joe Frager has had only one losing season during all his 10 years or so at FF. That really is an achievement. On to the playoffs and good luck to the women.

Yes. The #4 Stags (14-14)(11-8) beat #1 Marist (24-4)(17-2) 52-48 in Alumni Hall, beat #3 Manhattan (87-47) and beat #5 Quinnipiac (14-4)(11-8) 72-60 in Alumni Hall but lost at #2 Rider (24-4)(17-2) 52-60 and lost 60-68 to Rider in Alumni Hall. Rider has lost 56-67 at St. Peter's and lost 58-63 to Marist at home.
