Well, now it is all cancelled. Going to be really interesting to see how the NCAA deals with this mess.
Now they are going to have to give all these kids another year of eligibility. Right now, they are talking just Seniors, but why shouldn’t a Freshman, Soph, & Junior that only played half a season not get another year!
This is going to have a ripple effect through college Spring sports. Less scholarships for more eligible players.

I can understand giving seniors another year of eligibility since the fallout from the virus is without precedent.This would be similar in my mind to allowing a student who has graduated another year to complete his eligibility. Not sure the same relief should be given to Frosh-juniors because they have at least one or more years to compete. Of course any adjustment would have a financial impact to every school as they would need to cover the scholarships of those athletes who normally would complete their eligibility. Time will sort this one out!!
