Also played at prep - leaving Pitt - maybe TOT could send him back our way
Nice thought, but OTOH probably unrealistic considering he averaged almost 25 minutes a game for an ACC team. I don't think he would like to be stepping down in class at this moment.

Can't help but wonder if this player (Arnaldo Toro) might be a possible target, especially if Eze doesn't get an additional year of eligibility? He would be a grad transfer with immediate eligibility.
He played with Jesus Cruz on the FIBA U17 Puerto Rican team. Big body with decent numbers at George Washington.
Perhaps Methnani will hook up with Pitno down at New Rochelle and become a Gael. If I remember didn't Waseff go to Loiusville for a visit and a work out during Pitnio's tenure at Louisville? I remember posters on this board indicating that Methani was an "up recruit" for Syd because Louisville and ACC team was looking seriously at him. Well we all know how that prediction turned out!

I must admit that I didn't watch GW play at all this year nor do I know anything about this player, but looking at the statistics posted here it certainly appears as though he is kind of an exact duplicate of Eze in many ways. Therefore my initial reaction is no, that's not who we should be looking for if we're trying to get better. Let's put it this way, it's way too early to 'settle' for just average transfers, especially since everything is on hold at the moment.

Hey - if you go back and look at Wassef's 1st game (the UPENN thread) - a LOT of us were expecting big things.
The number of transfers is starting to grow on a daily basis. Now up to 226 D-1 transfers. Recent years have typically been around 900 per year.
It will be interesting to see how Young and his staff approach these players. Obviously they are open to the possibility given that Green and Ngalakulondi are already on the team. More to come?

Haven't heard anything lately. What is the status of the immediately eligible transfer rule?
According to a Jon Rothstein tweet, the NCAA which was going to have a decision sometime in early April now instead will probably wait until early June. Might make for a lot of uncertainty and late decisions by coaches, but given the circumstances this change would make sense.

With this news, that makes three Sacred Heart players that have transferred 'up' to major programs in the last five years or so. Previous was Cane Broome to Cincinnati and Quincy McKnight to Seton Hall (one SHU to another ironically). Just shows how hard a job mid to lower level programs have in putting together a good team because they lose so many outstanding players they put a lot of work in trying to get them to come in the first place. Tough to accept for Anthony Latina, but unfortunately reality strikes again.
