If you have a twitter account please look this up. I’ve dealt with a lot of terrible losses in my life but if Rich Kelly gets voted as a better MAAC player than Derek Needham I may never recover.
I logged in to give Derek some love and the voting was close. Frankly I am offended he was listed as a 7 seed.
Well the older the player the less chance the have. That's how it is. Rich Kelly is a fine player but I am not sure I would put him in the same category as Needham. Needham had an all around game of assists, defense steals as well as scoring. Although Derek was not a high percentage shooter, he was a money player. You need a shot game on the line you want needham taking it.
As Stag fans we are admittedly biased, but as much as I like Kelly, Needham gets my vote.

Greatest #MAACHoops player bracket, Upstate New York/Connecticut regional semifinal: No. 3 seed @babykolt now carries the torch for Quinnipiac, but must get past Cinderella Derek Needham of @stagsmensbball, who has already bounced two Bobcats. Can he do it again?
3) Cameron Young 54.9% 7) Derek Needham 45.1%

Where do you see the brackets? And how do you vote?
I need to post an actual bracket. In the meantime, you can vote by opening up my Twitter (@ dalydoseofhoops). Tyler’s in the final four against A.J. English.

We’re going to need a lot of support to defeat the legions of AJ English fans. I really thought Scott Machado was the best player in this bracket...but English has the votes.
