He'll have to sit a year. He had a strong freshman year, but took a step back this past season. Good shooter, great foul shooter. He should translate well to the MAAC.
He had previously signed with Siena before Patsos left. Also looked at Drexel, HC, and USF according to this article. Looks like a good shooter. We'll take that! Welcome Jake!
"...Wojcik, son of former San Jose State coach Dave Wojcik"
Reminds me of what Bill Belichick looks for in players
“For me, tough, smart, dependable. That’s where I would start. Tough — mentally and physically. Smart — good decisions, good football understanding, high football IQ....We all want great players; we all want as many as we can get. But in the end, there’s a cap on that — I don’t care where you are or what program you’re in."

I didn't follow Richmond this past season, but I know they had a great year (24-7, 14-4) in the Atlantic 10. He probably got recruited over. And there was no path to get much playing time next year.
Jake Wojcik (6-4) looks like a 3-guard. Given his stats from his Frosh year, I would classify him as multi-talented...... not just a shooter (36.3 from the arc, 80% from FT line).
He posted 1.5 assists with only .7 turnovers, so he has got some handle and passing in his game.
Also 3.5 rebounds a game.... thats respectable for a 3-guard. Maybe not as good a shooter as Taliaferro but Wojcik brings a well rounded game
Can’t think a player the men have brought in that’s the son of a former player. In my era, we brought In Chris Barry, brother of Rich. The women have had a few-Moore and Young off the top of my head.
