Why is there no discussion about this former Stag?!?! He is competing at the highest levels of U.S. soccer with the U.S. Men's National Team and New England Revolution. He is also rumored to be heading to Europe next year, perhaps to the Premier League. This is a tremendous individual accomplishment and great recognition for Fairfield soccer.

I get it. He doesn't play basketball. However, Matt Turner is by far the most successful former Stag playing at the professional and national sports level. I am certain people associated with the soccer program recognize this. I hope others in the wider Fairfield community recognize this. We are lucky to have Matt repping the University.

The New England Revolution are an American professional soccer club based in the Greater Boston area that competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), in the Eastern Conference of the league. It is one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, having competed in the league since its inaugural season. The club is owned by Robert Kraft, who also owns the New England Patriots along with his son, Jonathan Kraft. The Revolution have participated in five MLS Cup finals in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2014. They also placed second in the 2005 regular season. However, they have never won an MLS Cup or MLS Supporters' Shield. MLS New England Revolutionwww.revolutionsoccer.net/
