Cameron Healy, a 6'3" Junior Australian SG at Albany, entered the transfer portal today, per Verbal Recruits.
He was a pre-season AE All-Conference selection after scoring 953 points his first two years. But some nagging injuries have severely limited his playing time this year: he's played just 137 minutes in 12 games this season.
The kid is a shooter and can score when healthy (16ppg/14.2ppg as a frosh/soph). His coach said he was a great kid, for what that's worth. Sounds like the kind of kid I hope is on our radar.

Austin Butler, a 6-5 guard from Holy Cross, has entered the portal. Averaged 16 points and 9 rebounds this season (16 games), shooting 50% from the field and 46% from three. He has scored 1,321 points during his Patriot League career.

Likely going higher, but Matt Faw is a 6'9 PF, grad student-to-be from Holy Cross, averaged 11.4 point / 5.4 boards per game as a senior: www.verbalcommits.com/players/matt-faw
Holy Cross finished 5-11. Maybe their best players aren't that good?
You may be right. But then someone like Butler who shot 46% from three on a bad team might shoot 60% on a good team. Hard to know. I think we are a much better team with one more scoring guard. Hard to pass up on a D1 play scoring 15 a game with high shooting percentages.

I have seen some activity for the Coaches the last week or so on them following some 2021 HS Seniors or transfers. I would assume there is some movement on our roster as our season comes to an end in this next week.
It was a little easier to follow the Twitter tea leaves with SJ. About 95% of the time, if SJ followed a recruit a signing was imminent. JY is a little less frugal with his "follows."
Of general MAAC interest: Sloan Seymour (6'9"), played frosh year at Siena, followed Jamion Christian to GW, sat a year and played this year as a R-So but didn't do much: www.verbalcommits.com/players/sloan-seymour
Already 280 kids in the transfer portal with many teams still playing.
