Reminds me of Curtis Cobb seeking greener pastures at UMass under Coach McCall. CC and Tyler would have a great duo in their senior year with Jonathan. What could have been!?!?
Cruz is our best guy at forcing/creating shots. He’s a killer 4th option that’s been put into the position of having to do too much. I foresee him in a tournament game next year making some sort of big play.

He is a graduating senior so it makes sense for him to move on to another institution and a change of scenery. He was a big part of our mini-run in the MAAC Tournament this year so he will be missed.
Good luck Jesus!

I know Jesus has some detractors, but if there's one thing I think just about everyone could agree upon is the fact that he always left everything he could out on the floor in every game, and that's something he should be proud of. And certainly he was an overachiever based on his high school reputation before coming to Fairfield. So in my mind this is an end to a good career as a Stag and I wish him well going forward!

As I've said before, I'd always have a spot for a kid like Jesus on my team. Aside from being a competitor, he finishes with 1180 career points, Fairfield's 27th all-time leading scorer.

I'll be sorry to see Jesus go. I think at times he was an underappreciated resource. If he were paired with some good outside shooters who could help keep the middle open for him, he could score at will. I will miss Jesus, and wish him luck where he ends up.
Once a Stag always a Stag.

So glad to hear that Taj is returning. I hated to see Jesus was leaving but he is not critical to the success or failure of next years team, unlike Taj who is essential IMO and would be a major loss if he was to leave.
