I'll be sorry to see Jesus go. I think at times he was an underappreciated resource. If he were paired with some good outside shooters who could help keep the middle open for him, he could score at will. I will miss Jesus, and wish him luck where he ends up.
Once a Stag always a Stag.
Jesus played great in the Tournament. He was creating opportunities, making 3s, not forcing it, and finding the open man. He finished his career playing at a high level. Lots of credit to him!
So glad to hear that Taj is returning. I hated to see Jesus was leaving but he is not critical to the success or failure of next years team, unlike Taj who is essential IMO and would be a major loss if he was to leave.
He really is Nobody defends like he does. I would expect his game on offense to be even more developed next season because of how hard he works. When he’s on the court with Woj and Long, you’ should have three quality shooters.
Can Taj elevate his game to an All-MAAC level? No doubt he's getting 30+ minutes at the 2/3 - but the Stags really need he and Wojcik to move their games up a notch.

I like the fact that they have been together now for over 20 games, and as a twosome certainly they improved greatly in the latter stages of the just completed season. Then when you add in Green who really got better near the end, then hopefully an injury-free Leach, well I think you might be able to say with some confidence that the guard situation with the Stags could be quite good next year. And that isn't even counting Cevis and Long who while being question marks until they get here, nevertheless appear to bring skills that the team could use. I think a good foundation has been set in the back-court.

We need a wing now ala Marcus Gilbert. AJR? Chef? Jason? The verdict is still out. If the opportunity arises I think we need to grab a proven dynamic wing in the transfer portal.

Like picking ice cream, how many flavors does Ferron want? Fairfield, Cal Baptist, Ok State and now someone else (not to mention a JC school initially), certainly he has become a symbol of the transparency that so many of these athletes are going through from year to year (for better or worse). Anyway all kidding aside, I hope first of all that Flavors gets a meaningful degree and second, he gets back with a program that needs his services more than the Cowboys who obviously had studs ahead of him on the depth chart. It's interesting to follow his career though, don't you think?
