The Fairfield University Women's Basketball team was honored with a couple of All-MAAC selections as junior Lou Lopez-Senechal was unanimously voted to the All-MAAC First Team while graduate student Katie Armstrong was selected to the All-MAAC Second Team. This is the second All Conference selections for each student-athlete. "We are very proud of Lou and KT (Armstrong)," Head Coach Joe Frager said. "They have provided great leadership on and off the court for us. It's gratifying to see them recognized by the MAAC coaches for their efforts." Lopez-Senechal was the only one of the five All-MAAC First Team selections who was unanimously chosen by the league's 11 head coaches. The junior ranks in the top-five in the conference in most offensive categories, highlighted by her 17.0 points per game average, the second best in the MAAC. She also ranks second in field goal percentage (.428) and 3-point field goal percentage (.415). She connected on 2.43 3-pointers per game during the season, the fifth best mark in the MAAC. In the Stags' 14 games, Lopez-Senechal reached double figures in scoring in all but one contest and secured at least 20 points in six. She was named the MAAC Player of the Week twice, the most recent coming after a 27-point performance against Rider. As one of five players on the All-MAAC First Team, Lopez-Senechal will now be in the running for the MAAC Player of the Year award along with fellow First Team selections in Quinnipiac's Mackenzie DeWees and Mikala Morris, Marist's Willow Duffel, and Saint Peter's Taiah Thornton.
