Beyond disappointing, a failure with no CAA wins so far in the last 2 seasons, declining CAA wins every season in the last 5 years now down to none and only 2 CAA Tournaments in the last 7 years. "Houston we got a problem".

Maybe the stags can pull out one CAA victory against UMASS at home on 4/24. The minuteman have not been playing very well over the last three games as evidenced by three losses in a row. However, neither has FF played well over most of the season. So Saturday game features two teams that are struggling.

Notre Dame toying with Drexel in the NCAA 1st Round. There was a time when Fairfield was beating the likes of now national powers Notre Dame and Denver. It is such a shame how far our program has fallen. I really miss the days of Coach Spencer barking on the sidelines. Fairfield negligently failed to capitalize on the lacrosse programs success during the 2000s by waiting a decade too long to build Rafferty Stadium. I am afraid our opportunity for national lacrosse relevance has come and gone. Prove me wrong Coach Baxter!

Notre Dame's Wheaton Jackoboice scored the tie-breaking goal with 1:19 to play and the fourth-ranked and sixth-seeded Fighting Irish edged Drexel in the first round of the NCAA Championships, 10-8. The Dragons trailed by four, but rallied to tie the game, before falling in the final minutes. The loss snapped a nine-game Drexel win streak as the Dragons ended their season with a 10-3 record. Notre Dame (8-3) will advance to the NCAA Quarterfinals. The Irish will play either Maryland or Vermont next weekend.
