Fairfield University Men's Basketball (13-17)(9-11) tips off at the 2023 MAAC Championship in the historic 10,500 seat Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Tuesday, March 7 at 7:00 pm. The seventh-seeded Stags will meet 10th-seeded Saint Peter's (12-17)(7-13) in a First Round game on ESPN+, with the winner advancing to play second-seeded Rider (16-13)(13-7) in a Wednesday night Quarterfinal at 9:30 pm on ESPN+.

In 127 meetings with their most frequent opponent in program history, Saint Peter’s holds a 64-63 edge over the Stags in the all-time series. However, during the 2022-23 regular season Fairfield beat St. Peter's 67-55 at Mahoney Arena and 56-52 in Jersey City.

Just awful. Despite the negatives of Albany it’s a much better fan experience. This arena is empty There isnt even a legitimate place to buy food concessions are mostly closed.
