Today's heroes: Leach, Goodine, Fields and Yetna! I believe that the 58-point second half is the best offensive half in Fairfield history, surpassing the 56 points in the URI and FDU games earlier this year.
Definitely need to work on some things defensively, but I'm sure they will be ready to play on Wednesday.
Twenty wins, baby. Congrats to Coach Casey and all of the players. What a wonderful surprise this season has been.
Night meet day! What an incredible defensive and all around effort in the second half! Until closing seconds MSM was only able to get off 5 three-point attempts (1 make) after going 13-18 in first half. Yetna with a massive contribution playing nearly the entire last 20 minutes. He is going to sleep good tonight. There were a couple of defensive lapses in the closing minutes, probably secondary to fatigue. But the FT shooting was clutch.
What a win and what a season! This team deserves to go to The Dance. Have to put it together three more games!
my exact sentiments, 1-6 to 20-11, best Stag Players I've ever had the pleasure to root for. 21-22 from the line, on the road, in front of a huge hostile crowd...that bodes well for us in the MAAC Tourney!!! Our Coaches have to be hired for next year. See you in AC

SJ's "Running Stags" put up 66 in the 2nd half of a 113-74 win over Maryland-Eastern Shore.
Terrific comeback to top of a season of comeback. 1-6 to a 20 game win season. Great turnaround. Most significant in this game was Yetna playing many minutes and playing them well just in time for the tournament. He can be a difference maker for the stags. Go stags. Excited to go to AC for the first time in years. Stags up!’
