This week's Sports Illustrated has a cover story on Brooklyn basketball. On pages 56-57, there is a picture of a 1973 outdoor summer league game, and one of the players is wearing a "Fairfield Basketball" shirt and you can see "Stags" on his shorts. Anybody know who it is?

Saw that too. Great article, Hoops Comes Home by Rick Telander. The player is to the left of the basket. Not sure who he is though.

Just saw the picture. Could it have been a then current player on the team such as Craig Moorer? Another (wild) guess. Facially to me he looks like Walter Luckett, the great player from Bridgeport who may have still been in high school at that time before he signed with Ohio Univ. Is it possible that he might have owned some Fairfield gear and put them on to perform in a NYC summer league?
