Hey Syd, Bisbane is killing us in the paint. You see that 6'11" dude behind you with the 7 foot wing span. Yeah, the one leading your team in blocked shots. He might be able to help you defensively!!!

This team is a broken record, literally don't know how to win games, don't know how to get a stop, don't know how to make a big shot, I'm a pretty eternal optimist, but my goodness this team just looks awful and its very frustrating.......gotta at least win one against Siena and Monmouth, 8 point and 11 point lead.... youth is no exuse in these games. Man just NO ONE wants to step up it seems.....

Outcoached by Dumbo...awful!!!! And, yes, the youth excuse is growing old. Monmouth has 8 freshman, the Niagara program imploded during the offseason and their new coach cobbled their team together at the last minute, and Siena fired its coach last year and their new coach is rebuilding this year. I've reached my limit. Give Syd his $1.6m buyout and let's move on. Dunne would take a raise for half the price of Syd and would probably right the ship. The guy does more with less every season.

Unconscionable how little he plays. Come in for 2 mins gets an o-board and goes right back to the bench. SJ has made this so bad that I actually think less of people when they tell me they graduated from Princeton.
"The Stags made a lot of very familiar unforced turnovers"
"Lost focus. Lost aggressiveness"
"Where was Marcus Gilbert?"
"Mo Barrow needs some help"
These were just some of the post game comments by both Bob Heussler and Joe DiSantis. Really, you could attach these quotes to most of the games this season, except maybe the one about Marcus. Still, he hasn't been very consistent this season either. Nobody on this team has.
The bottom line: 1-9 MAAC, 4-17 Overall. U-G-L-Y.
And maybe the worst is losing at home to ahole Patsos.

Its the same old thing---losing close games--- game after game is about the poor coaching not the youth of the team--when the teams beating us are just as young. I think the players have lost confidence in this coach like me---where the yell is Malcolm? SJ has fell in love with Rose just like he did Wade and he is not going to change--sorry guys I told you we needed to play JJ and when he gets to play minutes he does well-its been long over due that Rose should sit and play other people--oh he is the only true point we have--guys look at the record and his play--time for change--but this coach will not do it, He is too stubborn--his poor use of Malcolm and his overuse of Rose are daggers!!!!!

Send a memo to SJ---try playing Rose less, and Malcolm more and see what happens--maybe Davis/chappell alternating with JJ at point---Play Malcolm lets see what he can do---I have no, none confidence in this Coach
JJ is very crafty. It very obvious. He should continue to get a lot of minutes.
The difference between winning and losing these games is at the margin. One thing that Patsos seems successful at is getting his players to play 110% for him.
When we execute well, Sydney can win games (ie. Manhattan). I am stating the obvious, but he and the team need to figure out how to win these marginal games. There will be far more games like that in the MAAC and in college basketball in general it seems.
Often times, it is simply playing a bit harder (ie. more intense D, boxing out harder, more fundamentally, etc), that allows a team to win at the margin. Joe D pointed to a 4 point swing we had closing out the 2nd half because Rose or Jenkins took a lefty layup, righty and missed, then Siena scored in easy bucket.
