Casimir should be interesting to follow especially if Iona is penciling him in as a starter. He probably would have been our starter too. Threat better be good.

Obviously hard to judge how good Threatt will be without having seen him perform. But I will make the prediction having watched Casimir play back in his Trinity Catholic days. He WILL be good I'm afraid. So yes this comparison will indeed be something to keep an eye on. And especially since he is an experienced JC player as opposed to an incoming freshman, I would expect our guy to be the better of the two this coming year.

A lot is expected from Threatt, and rightly so. He is not a freshman, nor is he a transfer with limited experience...... And he did not have to sit out last year. And from reading his tweets, he has high expectations of himself.
Threatt and Casimir as similar players in that they are undersized scoring guards that are probably more like a lead guard. They both played As high scoring PG's. Their roles are very comparable, so the comparisons are likely and a good measuring stick. Let's hope the Threat vs Casimir comparisons reach the heights of Needham vs Machado/Momo.
