T--I actually thought South Dakota was better than the 2 other teams--but your right, we got to do this consistently---I am not sold on ROSE OR Segura--think Smith should get some minutes

If Chappelle can play point and SJ gave him a chance, I think this team good have some weapons---I do not have confidence in Rose or Segura at this point---we all have been begging him to play Nelson--now give Chappelle a shot at point please
Having watched all three games (and the CCSC)game) I think there is hope. You have to walk before you can run! We lost the first two games to two teams that will be one or two in their league. We beat a team that would probably in the middle of the pack in the the MAAC. You got to beat the middle and the bottom before we can be at the top! We have a good front court! Sydney found a second go to guy in Nelson. (most in the board found him awhile ago) . Kirkland can play!!! If someone can improve their play at the point or somebody on the bench steps up we could be a good team at the end of the year! WE still had our long periods of not scoring but that I believe will change.. Inthe second half we cut down on the turnovers had more assist and we shot well from the line. Oh yea and Sydney found a young man named Nelson!!!! By the way I am the eternal optomist!
Every Stag game of the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament this weekend at the WBA had declining attendance: Wofford -1,733, Sam Houston State -1,703 and South Dakota - 1,487. Lack of local newspaper coverage, lack of name schools, limited local OOC alumni and the Stags' awful performance Friday night (Chris Elsberry - "Stags look like a JV team. A high school JV team") didn't help. The next home game is Monday, December 1 at 7:00 pm against Bucknell (PL)

Just looked at stats again and again--Rose cannot shoot from the floor or foul line--just can't have a player like that playing 40 minutes on a team that needs scoring--scary thought--Segura doesn't look much better----so SJ just like we begged for Nelson please try Chappell

Tyler, quite simply, is a hoops assassin. His court demeanor and his deadly stroke will have Stag fans jumping out of their seats for years to come. Yes, Sid brought him along slowly, but once the door opened, he charged on through. That is the sign of a special player. He is a natural born shooter, something the Stags haven't had in years, and seems to have a real passion for the game. And the more effective he becomes, the more it will open up opportunities for the other Stags. Having witnessed every minute of each tournament game this weekend, I can say the Coyotes are much better than their record indicates IMO. They were within one foul shot of knocking off Sam Houston the other night, and gave Wofford some anxious moments Saturday. Both the Terriers and BearKats are preseason favorites for their respective conferences, and I really think the Coyotes will make some noise in the Summit before the season is out. I guess what I am saying is that my glass, once half-empty, is now half-full. Go Stags!
I agree nittanystag! Joey D said in the broadcast, I'm saying it early, He will be the best shooter for Fairfield!Nothing but net! Coming from in my opinion. the best shooter in Stag history.
They need to do with Degnan what they did with Nelson. He needs to see the floor. I know Kirkland played well, but Degnan is a high IQ big man who can shoot and pass. He MUST get out there.
Deegnan is not ready to play D-1 yet. Tyler Nelson on the other hand is ready to go now. Rose and Stevie J. Are not playing well , shooting 13 -54 and should see very limited time until they step up. Segura is the future , let him play live with his freshmen mistakes and build for the future
talladega lost me. Rose or Segura, Nelson, Marcus, Kirkland and Amadou is a 2 guard look. I like this 2 guard look and also agree that playing well in practice does not equate with playing well in a game.

I'm glad Sydney got hit with a blinding flash of the obvious and gave Nelson a start. He showed what many of us believed and that is that Nelson is the best shooting guard we have.
Now I hope that same blinding flash hits Sydney with regards to other players and positions......
