The Fairfield University Men’s Basketball program will play three regular season games in Alumni Hall during the 2015-16 season in a collection of games titled the Legacy Series. The Legacy Series will pay tribute to the history and tradition of Fairfield Basketball that took place in Alumni Hall for many years.
Stags Club members for the 2015-16 season will have access to Pre-Game Receptions on the Fairfield University campus for each of these contests. Details for each reception will be sent out prior to the beginning of the season.
Plus the nostalgia of peeling paint and the 56 year old wood bleachers but you gotta love Sodexho's elementary school PTA style Folding Table Food Court next to the Super Bleachers. Fortunately there will be Stags Club Receptions somehere (Alumni House again?) as most likely the Levee will be closed during Thanksgiving and Christmas Recess. Regardless, a good idea to bring at least some (the most AH games (4) in one season since the move off campus) Stag Men's Basketball games back on campus as it hasn't happened since the 2012-2013 season.
We ask for Alumni games. We get Alumni Games. Still aren't Happy...
But yes, Not looking forward to some Sodexo Food... I guess this is why they lowered the price. I'd also be curious to see what the changes are in the actual stags club as far as food goes.

They won't need to roll out the back bleachers. Fifteen hundred tops. At least there will be plenty for some on this board to complain about...food, peeling paint, wood bleachers, lousy scoreboard, attendance, off site stag club and on and on. AH is a huge step down from AHY, and this move is further evidence of the decline of the program. There are some that simply do not want to play in Bridgeport, no matter how wonderful the facility. They have their biases, and they are entitled to them. I just think they ought to be more honest about their position and realistic about why attendance is not where it ought to be.

Well it is too bad that the students will be away for a couple of these events. However it would be great if the crowd that does show is large, loud, and helps the team perform well. A lot of people here are saying playing back on campus should make a difference. Time to prove it!
They should play at least one game there while school in session. The students would come, but in addition- so would the usual diehards and so would people that are not interested in going downtown Bridgeport to see a team play. Congrats to someone for at least TRYING to do things right. I would invite everybody that has ever given a dollar to Fairfield U to the game. While there- Get the name and address of all in attendance even if they have no affiliation to Fairfield U while your at it. U may raise your renovation funds right there. The money is in the community. Just have to ask.
