Fairfield University Women's Soccer sophomore Alex Darcy was named the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal and dishing out an assist in the regular season finale against Saint Peter's. Darcy, who earns her first career Player of the Week accolade, becomes the seventh different Stag to earn a weekly award from the conference office this season. "Alex has really come back well from her injury at the start of September," Head Coach David Barrett said. "She is hitting good form just in time for the playoffs!" Darcy attempted a career-high four shots in the match with two of those on target. She has now netted three goals in her career with a pair this year.
