Fairfield University Women's Basketball Road Runner Meghan Andersen was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week for the fourth-time this season after another impressive outing in her first career MAAC game. Andersen tallied 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds in Fairfield's conference opening victory over Mount St. Mary's on Saturday. For the season, Andersen leads the team with 15.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. She leads all MAAC freshmen in points per contest while ranking seventh in the nation among rookies. She is also in the top-5 in the country among first-year players in field goal percentage with a .551 clip.
