As Coach Carly has often stated, she feels like we’re a year ahead of what she thought was going to happen. Keeping that in mind, really looking forward to what the team can do the rest of the way. The regular season title means this team will be in a national tournament—- the NCAA stated that when they announced men’s conference regular season champions are no longer guaranteed an NIT if they don’t win their conference tournament.
Hoping our success continues in Atlantic City and we end up representing the MAAC in March Madness. Meep, meep.

UNC win over #6 NC St won’t help. UNLV went to OT this week and still need to beat Nevada. West Virginia with 2 losses and Princeton will surely drop out. The cards aren’t completely falling our way but give us a shot AP!

"This is the first goal down," Head Coach Carly Thibault-DuDonis said. "Regular season championships are hard because you have to be good every night. You can show up and play your best basketball in the conference tournament and still win a championship, but the regular season championship takes day in and day out consistency. I'm so proud of how this team shows up every day for each other and plays together. I'm really proud of this group.""We've got a bunch of upperclassmen who have lived for this moment," Coach Carly said. "You can go up and down this lineup in people who have given us that winning mindset every single day."With their biggest offensive output (95 points) against a Division I opponent this season, six Stags scored in double-figures. The Stags (24-1)(16-0 MAAC) shot an amazing 63 percent from the floor, the fourth best mark in a game in program history and the highest since 1990. !,624 attendance in the box score. Niagara runs around and does cause a lot of havoc, but they give up a ton of easy shots to a team that isn't overwhelmed - like Fairfield.
