Game played out as I expected. Was going to be a close loss or a blowout loss. Unfortunately , it was the later. Like most power 5 vs mid-major contests the mid-major stays close for a period of time. However the strength, height and athleticism of the power 5 team takes over. The gap between the women’s power five and women’s mid majors is a larger gap than the mens. The women gave FF fans one hell of a good season and this fan thanks the players and the coaches!

We all knew this was a tough draw. That should not overshadow a historic season for the women. Looking forward to CTD and staff continuing to build on this success!!! I have a strong feeling the portal will be kind to us.

Given all the above regarding too much height, unfriendly environment, etc., with the gaining popularity of women’s basketball and particularly March Madness, IMHO , it’s time to play these games on neutral sites, like the men. Thirty point blowouts are not fun to watch unless you’re the “home” team.

Well we got our coach and recruiting should benefit. Great first half where it was an even match. Once it got to double digits it was a goner. Every single Indiana player was aggressive. That was the difference. That said, Brown is a gem. That’s the mindset we need from everyone.

IU fan here, I wanted to say that I was really impressed with your team and coaching! I wish you all the best in coming years!! Thank you. We gave you a run in the 1st half. Really disappioting 2nd, but team/program on the rise, so hoping a stepping stone. As the women’s game grows, hoping you will see a few more 13 vs 4 upsets in the future! Makes it all more exciting!

I hope prospective freshmen and transfers have a chance to watch the post game interviews (Coach Carly, Janelle Brown, and Emina Selimovic). www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaGtLZeFW2oThese ladies are not only well-spoken, and great representatives of the university, but the positive relationships they have created is evident. There are also some Stag highlights from the game (at least the first 23 minutes had a lot of highlights) in this next video recap. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJH-dm3g8XoWe should all look forward to another great season next year.

Just watched the post game. Absolutely incredible ambassadors for the University. I can't help but believe every word CTD speaks.

Two recruits previously announced leaving three scholarships available. I believe this is correct?

Two recruits previously announced leaving three scholarships available. I believe this is correct? Leite still has an additional year and has publicly announced she is coming back for a second masters and to play a 5th year (and a 7th in college). Also Tartarian spent the entire season on the roster while away from the team (at least publicly) while still in school. There has been nothing said about her status.

I watched the post game interviews and was impressed with how often some variation of — only the beginning— was used in describing where the program was. By both Nellie and Emina as well as CTD. (For example, Nellie said she expects our home games next season to have a similar atmosphere to what Indiana’s home court had yesterday.) I was really surprised by the genuine enthusiasm and anticipation concerning next season coming so quickly after having the winning streak snapped by a 33 point margin.
