Congrats on win #24 which again featured a terrific game by Matt Curtis. So happy for Matt who is getting his chance to shine. His play bodes well for his and the team's confidence going into next season.
Four games in four nights to win a championship. That has to be tough on the body and the legs!
Thought the team displayed excellent conditioning all season. But of course Casey had more options to go to when needed.
We are down to essentially a 7 man rotation at best. Thankfully Matt Curtis has seized his opportunity and been a huge contributor in the first two games. The big question tomorrow-and hopefully Wednesday too-is whether the guys can maintain their legs and stay out of foul trouble.

Leach should be ashamed of himself for going in the portal area and not playing and finishing the season ; John’s as he is now is no loss ; if Goodine is hurt ok ; Curtis really showing how he is ; Yetna really doing much better , wish he had another year ! Let’s win it

If we win another game or two with two of our best players out, that’s such a powerful testament to Casey and the program he’s built this year. It’s another thing for a prospective transfer star to think about. It’s a shame Curtis didn’t get more time during the season to spell our starters. His end result very well may have eclipsed Johns. Thank goodness he is showing he belongs out there. He’s opened my eyes and hopefully the eyes of the coaching staff.

I agree with you about Leach. If he is a leader on the team then he should lead and participate in the tournament with his teammates. I give Goodine a pass because he played injured during the end of the season and probably needs time for his injury to recover. JJJ is addition by subtraction, IMO.

Evansville lost. I think we have a much bigger test with Seattle, they are a much stronger team than either of the programs we have faced so far. Our lack of depth is going to be more of an issue as we keep going back to back.
Fields had an exceptional game, but we are going to need more from a lot of other guys to win tomorrow. As good a game as Floyd had he missed a few bunnies. So did Smith. Our defense was not good in stretches. I won't name names but we didn't get rebounding from some of our guys that we need to work the glass. I know we won but we gave up 15 offensive rebounds. That's terrible. We need to do better.
Nice win, I hope we can pull off the upset off tomorrow.
