Fairfield – Season Ending Notes ♫ 23-24 - 235
LAST TIME OUT
Fairfield lost to Seattle in the semi-finals of the CBI.
ON THE BRIGHT SIDE
Despite the disappointing end to the season, Fairfield has its first 24 win season since the 2010-11 season. There were a lot of great moments. Together the Men’s and Women’s team had the best combined record in the history of the MAAC Conference surpassing the 1988-89 LaSalle Team’s where the men and women combined for 54 wins. Fairfield’s men and win combined to win 55 games this season*
*Thanks to Ghostman for some fine research on this….
GOOD LUCK
The Early Edition would like to wish the best of luck to any players who have used up their eligibility or who may not be returning next season. In particular, EEGN wants to thank Alexis Yetna, Jack Brown and Caleb Fields for the outstanding manner in which they have represented the program. They are winners not just on the court, but off the court as well and the Early Edition wishes to congratulate them on their fine careers. The Early Edition would also like to wish anyone else on the team or staff that may be moving on nothing but successful and happiness in whatever comes next.
