This article in the Times-Union, www.timesunion.com/sports/article/ncaa-transfer-portal-season-continues-college-19441850.php, originally posted on the Women's board because Huerter and CTD are quoted, says: "In all, Ambrose said the Siena-aligned collective raised approximately $100,000 for the current school year. Originally, the goal for 2024-25 was to raise $150,000 — but the collective jumped that to $200,000 after the school hired former Syracuse star Gerry McNamara to be its new head coach in March." I assume that's all for MBB.

To me, this means for the foreseeable future the MAAC and other mid-major teams are going to continue to be feeding talented players to the high majors. Supreme went to Georgetown for reportedly half of Siena’s entire NIL funding. I’ve read that St. John’s NIL offer to Kadary Richmond was $750,000. It wouldn’t surprise me if Siena’s collective is the best funded of the MAAC schools.

The MAAC is like Class A baseball.
I tend to agree about Siena because they are #1 by a lot in terms of MBB fan quantity. But 1 or 2 very dedicated, and rich, fans of any MAAC school could have a big impact if they so chose.
