How about inviting Plansky and his son down for the game on 12/15 in Bridgeport against Northeastern? Is there a CT branch of this organization that the Stags and the arena could partner with to maybe help raise some $$$?

Obviously it is stories like this that serve to remind people about the good things that can happen in sports in contrast to the many bad and contoversial stories that we seem to be bombarded with on a regular basis. Good for Max and our former player Mike and his family! And BTW, good to see that our former assistant Antonio Reynolds-Dean is still on the Northeastern staff. And concerning this program and how it helps kids with special needs who really get great enjoyment from being part of a team (and recipricated in full by the sense of fullfillment the team and coaches get back), I may be mistaken but I believe a Fairfield team very recently (maybe mens or womens soccer?)had a kid incorporated as part of their program for a season or two. Anyone know if that was true?
My niece had suffered with complications from a brain tumor and participated in a similar program with the UConn Women's Basketball program years ago and it was wonderful experience for her. Unfortunatly she is no longer with us but those cherished memories of games at Gampel and the Hartford Civic Center are priceless for my brother and his family.
Interestingly in the MAAC Canisius, Niagara, Rider, Marist and Monmouth are already associated with Team IMPACT. Time for Fairfield University too:
