* silver lining - hopefully nobody will make that mistake again the rest of the season! After VA scored a tough shot with 4 seconds left... Mikulic tried to quickly inbound it to Needham and it was stolen and laid in at the buzzer.

Why is it, that even when things are going well, we always find a way to go into the half on a downer. Two UVA baskets in the last five seconds get them within 2. 30-28 at the half.
Anyone else get the feeling that Mikulic has easily replaced Olander so far? He needs to work on not turning the ball over, but he sure can shoot.

Mikulic needs to take better care of the ball, Four turnovers in the half, but otherwise, what a weapon. He's looking like more than what we thought Olander could be last year.
Yup. Mikulic needs to be more careful - but you can see his guard background showing through in his confidence with shooting and catching/passing the ball. He also doesn't 'play smaller' than he is... I remember Olander had a problem with negating his own size advantage due to some of his offensive moves.
I also like what he's doing on D - he isn't leaving his feet and getting bad fouls.
