With the 2-0 loss yesterday at Quinnipiac and Manhattan's 2OT tie with Monmouth, the Stags are now tied with Manhattan for fourth place each with 11 points. Only the top four teams will be playing on Lessing Field in the MAAC Men's Soccer Championship. The Stags have two games left but have already lost at Manhattan. Due to a better conference win percentage, and Manhattan’s 5-2 win over the Stags, they would own the tie-breaker if the regular season ended today.

I thought Monmouth and Quinnipiac did not belong on the same field as other MAAC teams.
Nevertheless, I will be cheering for Fairfield to get into the top four teams. It would be great to have them in the soccer tournament.
